Bonjour, mes amis!
We arrived at our hotel at 7:30 last night, looking slightly rumpled and sleep deprived from our long journey through Amsterdam and Singapore. Despite finding ourselves in the 2 middle seats of a 4-seat row (ugh- how did that happen?), we managed to sleep about 7 of the 12 hours between Amsterdam and Singapore. The rest of the trip was pretty much an endurance test, but we survived it. Speaking of survival, did you know that high-heeled shoes are not allowed on the life boats, in the event of a water evacuation? Me neither- I learned it from watching the KLM safety video three times! Guess I won’t be traveling in my Louboutins anymore.
I had several pictures to share but realized just a few minutes ago that I didn’t bring my camera cord with me. Raise your hand if you have WAY too many cords and chargers in your life. I’m not sure that I have ever gone on a trip with all of the necessary accoutrements for my gadgets, and if I ever have, I probably didn’t make it back home with all of them. The good news is that I do have my phone and its cord, so I will share a few pictures I took on it, and I’ll take more tomorrow. The camera pictures will just have to wait until I am back home, which means I”ll be milking this trip for blog posts for the foreseeable future!

OK- this isn't Bali. This is my dessert on my last night in Paris. Baked apple, salted caramel sauce and vanilla ice cream crepe. It pretty much rocked.
And that’s all I’ve got, folks. I’ll use my iphone camera tomorrow, so don’t give up on me baby!
Lovin’ the pics! How exotic to be in Bali
Bali – so exciting! Can’t wait to see your pictures and don’t care if it takes months and months to get through all of them. Have a wonderful trip.
Have a great time! Can’t wait to see pics!
