It was SO good! Tasted like home! But it was at Le Loir dans le Theiere, in the Marais. Who knew you could eat anything other than falafel on Rue du Rosiers?
That looks like one of the famous pie choices served at the Blue Bonnet Cafe (home of pie and coffee happy hour) here in Marble Falls, Texas. But the wine glass in the background would be out of place with the meatloaf, “mama’s famous pot roast” and other plate lunches offered there.
i was eating a pop tart when i opened your email to see this decadence – this is just wrong on so many levels; i don’t even like pop tarts…save me a slice, will ya?
Oh, that is simply amazing! Can’t imagine what the entire pie would look like. Thanks for sharing. This Kansas girl loves escaping to Paris for a few moments via your posts!
Wow, where was this? Looks divine!

I know what you mean! It did look like Texas meringue! But it was creamier, somehow- not as airy. Tasted awesome!
That looks pretty but the lemon filling is my fav..
Me too. And it was good.
